CareLedger support

Help with your dependent-care records.

CareLedger keeps the records you enter locally and helps you organize the steps you complete outside the app.

Common help topics

Plan, people, and providers

Use the app's edit controls to keep your plan-year details, dependents, and care providers current. CareLedger records the information you enter; it does not verify plan or tax eligibility.

Expenses and supporting documents

Expense records can include service dates, amounts, payment details, notes, related people/providers, and user-selected supporting files. Imported files are copied for local use. Keep your original records according to your plan's requirements.

Claims and reimbursements

Record a claim only after you submit it through your plan administrator's process. CareLedger does not file or transmit claims. Reimbursement records reflect amounts you enter after receiving them.

Deleting local information

Use available delete controls carefully. Related financial history can restrict deletion to preserve the consistency of your records. Removing the app may remove local app information, subject to your device's backup and restore behavior.

Storage and backups

CareLedger has no developer account, backend, or cloud-sync service. Imported document copies use protected local storage and are excluded from backup where implemented. The app's database is not proven to be excluded from OS-managed device backup.

Reminder: CareLedger does not determine eligibility, provide tax or legal advice, file claims, decide administrator acceptance, or guarantee reimbursement.
