DebtPlanner
Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 25, 2026
DebtPlanner is provided by Derrick Rhodes (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains how DebtPlanner handles information when you use the app.
Information you may store
DebtPlanner lets you enter debt names, balances, interest rates, minimum payments, payment and funding amounts, strategy choices, assumptions, and related planning details. These records may reveal sensitive financial information. The app does not ask you to store payment-card credentials.
Local processing and storage
Your planning records and calculations are processed and stored locally on your device using protected app storage. DebtPlanner does not use a developer-operated account, backend, analytics service, advertising service, tracking service, or CloudKit synchronization service to receive those records.
Purchases
DebtPlanner may use Apple's StoreKit to offer or restore Lifetime Pro. Apple processes the transaction and related Apple Account and payment information under Apple's policies. We do not receive your full payment-card details. StoreKit network communication is separate from the local debt records you enter.
Developer collection, sale, and sharing
We do not collect the debt or planning information you enter into DebtPlanner. We do not sell, rent, or share that information with third parties because the app does not send it to us.
Backup files and device backups
If you explicitly export a JSON backup, the file may contain the records you entered and may leave the app sandbox for a Files location or cloud provider you select. That provider may operate under its own terms and privacy policy. Imported backup files are read only after you choose them.
The app's local database and internal safety backup are not proven to be excluded from OS-managed device backup. Device backup and restore behavior is controlled by your operating system, device settings, and services you choose—not by a DebtPlanner developer server.
Device authentication
When optional app protection is enabled, DebtPlanner may ask iOS to authenticate you using device features such as Face ID, Touch ID, or the device passcode. Authentication is handled by the operating system; the app does not receive or store your biometric data.
Your choices and deletion
You can edit or delete records using the app's controls. Removing the app may remove local information, subject to your device's backup and restore behavior. If you want to preserve records, create and protect an export before deletion.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when DebtPlanner's practices change. An updated policy will be posted with a revised effective date.
